What Is Doodle Jump?

doodle jump is an endless-jumping mobile game developed and published by the independent studio Lima Sky in April 2009. The game is available on most popular platforms, ranging from iOS, Android, and Windows Phone to later console systems.

In the game, you control an incredibly adorable green, four-legged creature named “Doodler.” The sole objective is to navigate the Doodler as it jumps continuously onto platforms, aiming for a record height without falling to the bottom of the screen or colliding with deadly obstacles.

Basic Gameplay Instructions

Doodle Jump’s control mechanics are extremely intuitive and make full use of the smartphone’s accelerometer.

Tilting the device: Simply tilt your phone left or right to move the Doodler in the corresponding direction. The steeper the tilt, the faster the horizontal movement.

Automatic jumping: The Doodler automatically bounces whenever it lands on a platform; no button-pressing is required.

Shooting monsters: Tap anywhere on the screen to make the Doodler fire projectiles from its snout, eliminating enemies that block your path.

No stopping point: There is no finish line. The game only ends if you slip and fall, get hit by a monster, or get sucked into a black hole.
