Kids Endocrinology | Child Hormone & Diabetes Care, London

KDE – Kids Endocrinology is a specialist private paediatric endocrinology service for children and young people aged 0 to 19 across Central London and the South East of England. The service is led by Dr Dunia Ismail, a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist and Diabetologist with over 18 years of consultant experience and clinical lead for paediatric endocrinology and diabetes at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. Dr Ismail previously trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. KDE diagnoses and manages type 1 and type 2 diabetes, growth disorders and growth hormone deficiency, early or delayed puberty, thyroid and adrenal disorders, childhood obesity, hypoglycaemia and menstrual problems. Dr Ismail also has a special interest in insulin pumps, hybrid closed-loop systems and continuous glucose monitoring. Families can choose face to face consultations or virtual appointments, and receive clear, caring and evidence-based advice every step of the way.
