Blue Sea Glass is the literary home of G.J. Dürrschmidt, an independent author based on Florida’s southwest shore. A career military veteran with a graduate degree in Writing from Johns Hopkins and a former adjunct professor of writing and literature, he shares poetry, prose, memoir, and road-trip stories, with more than a thousand poems alongside essays inspired by years spent aboard a motor yacht in the Florida Keys. Now retired, he travels with Kaspar, a 1970 VW Westfalia, and writes at the intersection of adventure, imagination, nature, and a little irreverence.
