EMDR Therapy UK

I am an EMDR therapist working with adults across the UK. Hundreds of clients since 2016, in Birmingham, on Harley Street and over Zoom.
Most people who contact me have already tried talking about it, sometimes through NHS Talking Therapies, and the story has worn smooth without the feeling changing. Talking treats the account of the event. EMDR treats the memory underneath it.
I will also tell you when EMDR is not the right first step. If you are in crisis, or dissociation is a large part of what you experience, stabilisation comes first, and I will say so on the call rather than after you have paid.
